What about January?

I'm not sure if anyone is still reading this blog. But if you are I'm interested in your view.

Have you had any success running an 'Introduction to Jesus' type course (Christianity Explained, Christianity Explored, Introducing God etc) in January as a follow up to Christmas? We've seen it work as a follow up to Easter, but does the school holidays ruin it for Christmas?

What do you reckon?

  1. Who's going to run it for you when everyone's up at CMS Summer School or taking annual leave and visiting other churches? Don't you know that January is the Christian Ramadan?

Apart from that, Jan is the ideal time for running something for newcomers, as they are all there visiting your church while taking a break from their own. ;-) I would say go for it!

  4. Ah the joys of fleeting fame. Anyway I hope you get some more comments. Hey here's an idea, why don't you write 300 words for Sydney Anglicans website and ask for comments there. They are always looking for content and you will get interest and feedback for sure on a topic like this.

  6. Yep Jeremy Halcrow—due to budget cuts I believe he is the man now.
